After talking with my wife and thinking about what I want to write about, she brought a very important point about what I am blogging. Do I violate the privacy practices act? And if so, I could lose my job. Oh the dilemna.
Well here is a link to the HIPAA Privacy Rule. I explain this to every new patient and I feel that I understand what it is covers and why it's so important. After reviewing it, I feel that if I share tidbits of life experiences and lessons and hold off on sharing any medical issues, I should be fine.
